State budgetary institution of culture of Moscow region "Moscow regional Museum of folk arts and crafts»

A Museum dedicated to the history and development of folk arts and crafts of the Moscow region, located in the village of Fedoskino. This place is called "the Birthplace of Russian lacquer miniatures", as in the 20-ies of XX century, the technology of the manufacture of lacquer items were taken from "realization", which later became well-known centers of lacquer miniature on papier-mâché, "Palekh", "Mstera" and "flunky".  The Museum was established by decree of the government of Moscow region on 23 April 2003 and placed in the monument of history and culture of regional value "the House Lukutin".  It was in this building from late XIX century to the 70-ies of XX century was created "lukacinsky" and later the "Fedoskino" lacquer miniature painters worked and were housed production departments.

For 10 years the Ministry of Culture of Moscow region was created a Museum complex with the entire infrastructure, the building was restored and adapted for Museum expositions.  In small cozy rooms presents a unique memorial items, photos, documents and most full in Russia fedoskinskoe collection of lacquer miniatures. Visitors in a historic setting, will be able to trace the history of the origin and development of the famous folk arts and crafts. Opening for visiting the permanent exhibition – the first stage in creating the center for the history of folk arts and crafts of the Moscow region. In the future, in the exhibition hall of the Museum will host the exhibition dedicated to such famous fisheries as "Gzhel", "Dulevo", "Verbilki", "Bogorodskoye", "Pavlovo Posad manufactory", "Sergievsky toy" and "Zhostovo".
